GreenEco Investments LLC has become a member of the of the international Working Group on Scaling Up Voluntary Carbon Markets

Representatives of GreenEco Investments LLC joined the Member Consultation Group of the international Taskforce on Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets (TSVCM). 

Employees of GreenEco Investments LLC will actively participate in the development of the Core Carbon Principals (CCPs), defining the requirements for certificates issued via projects to reduce and offset CO2 emissions and traded on the voluntary carbon market. The experience gained from the implementation of climate projects in the Russian Federation will also be used and considered in the development of these carbon principles (CCPs).

The Working Group on Scaling Up Voluntary Carbon Markets (TSVCM) comprises over 250 members, including buyers and sellers of carbon certificates, standards’ developers, financial sector representatives, market infrastructure providers, international organizations, and academia. The initiative aims to expand and improve the effectiveness of the voluntary carbon market to meet the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement

TSVCM was initiated by the UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance, Mark Carney. Key board members include representatives of organizations and companies such as McKinsey & Company, the Institute of International Finance (IIF) and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
